  • Metalborn - new mod for 1.20.1 inspired by Feruchemy

    Just released a new mod for 1.20.1 called Metalborn. This mod is my own take on Feruchemy from Brandon Sanderson’s Mistborn series. Feruchemy is the art of storing power in metals, which seemed to fit so well with the large amount of metals in modded Minecraft. While storing, you are temporarily weaker, but you can later draw out that power to increase your power by the same amount.

  • Tinkers' Construct Traveler's Update for 1.20.1

    Tinkers’ Construct just got a new update! The main feature in this update is more improvements to Traveler’s Gear, but it also has some preparations for an new mod I am working on called Metalborn. More on that mod in a later post.

  • Ceramics and Inspirations on 1.20.1

    For anyone unfamiliar, Ceramics and Inspirations are both mods created by KnightMiner, who is also the current lead developer for Tinkers’ Construct. Ceramics is a standalone simple fluid transfer mod, both reusing the ideas of faucets and channels from Tinkers’ Construct and providing various clay tools for early game. Inspirations is a variety mod adding a bunch of smaller features with a focus being on small ideas that might fit the base game.

  • Tinkers 1.20 - Engineering Update

    This new update for Tinkers’ Construct adds many new features related to automation, along with more compatability for Immersive Engineering and a ton of new datapack features giving more flexability to JSON addons.

  • Tinkers 1.20 Beta - Byproduct Update

    Tinkers’ Construct just had a beta released for 1.20.1. This means we are ready to call the API safe for addons to use, but are not yet ready to call the update content stable. If you are making a modpack, expect to need to keep an eye on the changelogs for balance changes and alike. Check out the the update primer for a guide on updating.
